About the department

You will join the Cardiometabolic Marketing division, disease awareness group at Novo Nordisk. Our group is passionate in driving the development and implementation of the strategy and plan for Cardiometabolic medicines, focusing on injectable Semaglutide products. We are a collaborative and dynamic team based in Japan, acting to making a difference in the lives of obesity patients. Our work environment is innovative, offering ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. The position will directly report to Disease awareness group, Group manager.

The position

As the Disease Awareness Manager, you will develop and implement the strategy and plan for Semaglutide injectable drugs as well as build Obesity disease awareness to win against the competitors and lead the growth of the category. You need to Understand the Disease Awareness Group strategy, which is under Cardiometabolic Marketing strategy, and support the Group Manager to build plans, lead and execute plans to drive disease awareness and be accountable for delivering Return On Investment (ROI) on assigned project(s). 

Other tasks include, but not limited to:

  • Execute activation plans that leverage knowledge of various advertising tools, including digital and traditional media, to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Provide appropriate briefings to creative agencies, manage the schedules and commit to obtaining approvals from the appropriate approver.
  • Understand internal and external regulations and create creative content in line with our purpose and value.
  • Regularly monitor campaign performance and propose to optimize it.
  • Create reports on campaign progress and effectiveness and submit them to supervisors.

Qualification

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 5 years of brand marketing experience as an inhouse marketer especially in product communication / creatives, advertising production experience (experience in brand marketing for the mass market is required) with proven result in brand communication delivery, with KPI settings.
  • Engagement skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • IT skills for creative production (such as image and video editing) is required.
  • Native and advanced Japanese communication skills (especially copywriting skills), and English communication skills (business-level reading, writing and speaking) are required.
