Summary:
We are looking for a Tube Bending machine Set Up Technician. Must Haves: large diameter tube bending experience, machine set-up, programming, tooling, and part development. (1) one-year of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. High school diploma/GED preferred.
Qualifications:
- Set up and operates tools, & machinery, to fabricate parts. Loads parts in the machine, cycle machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations
- The position runs production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment
- Read job specifications such as blueprints, calipers, and measurements to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
- Determine the appropriate equipment and methods based on requirements
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Ensure work is done safely, consistently and meets quality standards
- Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions
- Check parts to drawing specifications and tolerance using proper measurement and inspection equipment to determine accuracy of machine operation
- Identify, tag and remove non-conforming materials
- Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Communicate with other departments as necessary
- Determine whether machinery is working properly based on specifications for expectation such as fixtures, cutting speeds, or feed rates
- Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
- This person's day will be setting up machines, going through the tooling, elbow deep into grease and change over the tooling, setting up for operators, this person will be at a computer to deal with part development, also will be working with engineers
Schedule: Monday - Friday 05:00am - 03:00pm
