Billing Clerk

Location: Moses Lake and Surrounding Areas

Pay: $20-$25 per hour, DOE

Generate invoices, credit memos, update customer information or accounting records. First point of contact for customers answering account specific inquiries, and payment reminders to clients. Ensure timely and accurate billing, assist in collections and resolve customer billing questions and/or inquiries. Manage and maintain customer accounts, and follow up with customers to collect payments, so that debts don’t become past due. Work with other departments to resolve account discrepancies by assisting customers in ensuring timely and accurate payment collection throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage billing transactions using Excel-based software with accuracy.
  • Maintain and regularly update client accounts.
  • Identify and resolve any billing discrepancies, ensuring timely communication with customers
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline the billing process
  • Prepare, issue, and monitor invoices to guarantee prompt payment

Ideal Candidate:

  • Highly proficient in using Excel an adept with various computer applications.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and an elevated level of numerical accuracy.
  • Organized, able to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of clear and concise interactions.
