JOB TITLE: Aircraft Technician II 

LOCATION: Brunswick, GA

PAY RATE: $32.18 per hour

Summary: 

  • Perform moderate to advanced inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications.
  • Ensure work meets all quality standards and FAA documentation requirements.
  • Complete CMP cards, work orders, and other required paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate with inspection and technical leads to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Securely store and tag customer property and aircraft components.
  • Properly use and maintain company tools and return them to designated areas after use.
  • Safely operate ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic lifts, tow tugs).
  • Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
  • Provide training and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
  • Assist with shift turnovers and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
  • 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience (including 2 years on mid/large-sized aircraft).
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations, process specifications, and Repair Station/Quality Control manuals.
  • ITAR Definition
