The pay range is $60,000.00 - $120,000.00

Teams in Apparel & Accessories (A&A), Beauty, Home, Baby and Electronics prioritize guest experience while blending completion of tasks that ensure product is available and easy to shop – pulling, filling, pricing, setting, staging and maintaining the sales floor and the backroom.

- GUEST service fundamentals, building and managing a guest first culture on your team
- Retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies
- Setting and planning of department(s) monthly/quarterly workload to support business priorities and managing a team to deliver on sales goals
- Managing multiple businesses and balancing team member expertise in each area to effectively manage teams in each department

As a Specialty Sales Executive Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day most likely will include the following responsibilities:
- Create and lead a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
- Drive total store sales, demonstrate how you, your team and your departments contribute to and impact total store profitability
- Create a guest-obsessed culture and lead your team to prioritize the guest experience and deliver on store sales goals
- Create schedules and make adjustments as needed to align to guest traffic and business needs
- Manage your team to effectively plan merchandising transitions, revisions, sales plans, sampling and promotions
- Develop working relationship with third party vendors and oversee Team Leader’s management of vendor performance
- Know and assess the competition and leverage guest insights and feedback to drive the business and be the destination of choice for our guests
- Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (this includes early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends)
- Build a team of consultants that are knowledgeable and passionate about Apparel and Accessories, Beauty, Home, Seasonal and Electronics
- Lead A&A, Beauty, Home, and Electronics backroom processes, organization, layout and replenishment of the salesfloor to ensure product is available for guests
- Lead your team to deliver inspiring visual moments in A&A, Home and other seasonally relevant areas using Visual Standards and Guiding Principles
- Ensure fitting rooms are used as an extension of the sales floor and are welcoming, clean and safe
- Plan, lead and follow-up on organizational and operational change
- Anticipate and identify changes in unique store trends
- Anticipate short-term and long-term staffing needs and manage talent planning and recruitment
- Develop and coach your team and Team Leaders to elevate their skills and expertise
- Lead team onboarding, learning and help close product knowledge and skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions
- Create a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management
- Train your team to provide service and a shopping experience that meets the needs of the guest
- Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; lead and hold the team accountable to work in the same way
- Create and lead a safety advocacy culture by understanding how safety impacts your role and that of your team, identifying and correcting hazards in partnership with appropriate business leaders, and holding team accountable to working in a safe manner to benefit themselves and others.
- Address store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.)
- As a key carrier, exercise good judgment and implement all safe and secure training and processes
- All other duties based on business needs

We have some amazing training that will help build upon skills you already have to succeed as a Specialty Sales Executive Team Leader, but, there are a few things you should have from the get-go:
- Four year degree or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Comfortable dealing with and managing team through ambiguity
- Comfortable managing conflict, leading and holding others accountable
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within the established timeframes.
- Ability to communicate in multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis
- Ability to:
- Relate well and interact professionally with all levels of an organization
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Independently manage workload and prioritize tasks

- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely (including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise and fixtures up to 44 pounds) without additional assistance from others.
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout,etc.
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders as needed
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and reliable and prompt attendance necessary
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
