The ideal candidate will manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the company’s growth through effective financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow management.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, payroll processing, and tax preparation.
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and monitor business performance metrics.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in a financial management or controlling role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Prior experience in managing payroll, taxes, and compliance with federal and state regulations is a plus.
