Ops Performance and Development Manager

The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for process improvements and scheduling in FreshDirect’s Operations

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Develop and implement strategies for operations and transport planning to optimize resource utilization and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Oversee capacity management efforts to effectively manage resources and meet customer demand while minimizing waste and inefficiencies.
• Utilize SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline processes and improve operational performance.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within operations and transportation.
• Define and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals.
• Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute strategic development projects aimed at enhancing operational capabilities and driving growth.
• Develop and deliver training programs to build the capabilities of team members and empower them to contribute to operational excellence.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in operations management and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 4+ years' experience in operations, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing
• 3+ years’ experience in data analysis and SQL
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering or related field
• Experience working in a union environment
• Experience working with an automated system.
• Hands on experience with WMS and SAP
