THE ROLE

This is a Vice President level role and an opportunity to join the Client Solutions Group, which is responsible for growing our business and managing our relationships with institutional and third-party wealth clients in Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking a highly driven institutional client coverage professional to work across our public markets business with a predominant focus on public equity and multi-asset solutions. This person will help drive commercial impact for our franchise in partnership with our product and sales teams around the world.

We require an organized and efficient person with exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail, who can work both autonomously and within a team environment, to develop long-term relationships with our clients to understand their objectives and provide them with relevant solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Uncover new business opportunities for our franchise through the distribution of our public market capabilities to key client accounts, with a focus on our public equity and multi-asset solutions
  • Manage key client accounts and provide exceptional client service for a broad range of mandates across various asset classes including fixed income, public equities, and multi-asset investments
  • Coordinate local and global client pitches, product presentations, and requests for proposals (RFPs) to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholder groups including Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Legal, Technology, Operations and Compliance, with a common goal of providing the best possible experience for our clients 
  • Contribute toward the strategic development and execution of the Australia / New Zealand Client Business plan, including assisting with competitor analysis and market research

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • 5 - 10 years’ experience in distribution / investor relations, asset management, or investment consulting with a focus on public equities 
  • Deep understanding of the asset management business and public equity markets specifically
  • Broad knowledge of the Australian asset management landscape
  • A real interest in the financial markets and wealth creation

  • Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues and clients through working in a collaborative manner
