Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in cybersecurity focus on protecting organisations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. They work to identify vulnerabilities, develop secure systems, and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data.

In cloud security at PwC, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and elevating the security posture across our clients’ cloud environments, covering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Your work will involve having a deep technical knowledge of cloud security and you will work with one or more Cloud Service Providers (CSP) to implement security protocols, monitor for potential security breaches, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing of cloud-based systems, and stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends in cloud technology.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:

Developing applications in serverless cloud environments;

Possessing Google Cloud experience is preferred, as well as experience in AppEngine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Datastore, Firestore, Cloud SQL and/or BigQuery;

Working with AWS serverless services (Lamda, Edge, Fargate, S3, EFS, RedShift), as well as Heroku or Azure;

Designing and building container based apps;

Working with docker images, kubernetes, microservices architecture;

Possessing Devops and Continuous Delivery and Integration skills;

Writing and automating test code for high levels of code coverage;

Working with Google Cloud Build, AWS CodePipeline or CodeBuild, Jenkins, CircleCI, Gitlab, or similar; and,

Using web services and APIs (e.g REST) and their application to serverless cloud environments; preferably Google Cloud.

AWS Cloud Developer Engineer [AI]

Hands-on experience in full Cloud Development tools. AWS SDK Lambda/Python.

Experience with AWS development tools: AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS Cognito, Elastic Beanstalk, DynamoDB, RDS, AWS OpenSearch, AWS CodeDeploy.

Exposure and desirable experience with AWS AI API Tools: Amazon BedRock, Amazon Kendra, Amazon Q.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience
