Job Description
The Springs at Greer Gardens Senior Living seeks a Transportation Bus Driver with the perfect blend of personal warmth and technical skills. Responsibilities include driving seniors to appointments, shopping and excursions, and purchasing any needed supplies for the community in our 14 passenger bus. Our ideal candidate is friendly, observant, flexible, patient, organized, willing to jump in and is helpful.
Qualifications
- Excellent driving record
- Must have had drivers license for a minimum of 5 years
- Experience working with Seniors is preferred
- Completion of a background check and drug test upon hire
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of job description such as maintain the ability to life 50 pounds, frequently push / pull/ bend/ twist and reach, sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers to reach / handle items, sit for long periods of time as well as have the ability to complete some light to heavy physical activity. You will also have to walk wheelchairs down a ramp backward and assist residents in and out of the vehicle while on shift
