The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth invites applicants for one or more postdoctoral positions in operations management, management science, and analytics. The positions begin in the 2025-26 academic year, although the specific start date is negotiable. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or be near completion of a doctoral degree. The appointment will initially be for a one-year term and can be renewed for an additional year. Applications will be considered (and decisions made) on a rolling basis. No applications will be considered after May 15, 2025.
Candidates may work in both analytical and empirical methods, as well as in a variety of application areas including (but not limited to) revenue management, energy, supply chains, service operations, and health care.
While at Tuck, the postdoc would collaborate with the resident faculty to develop new research projects. Depending on the interest and fit, the postdoc may be co-hosted by the Jack Byrne Cluster at Dartmouth, a campus-wide initiative in Mathematics and Decision Science. See here for information about Tuck faculty and here for more information about the Byrne cluster.
Postdocs will receive salary and benefits, as well as an annual allowance for research and conference‐related travel and expenses. The school also provides a computer and computer support.
The Tuck School and Dartmouth are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive population of students, faculty, and staff. Dartmouth recently launched a new initiative, Toward Equity, that embraces shared definitions of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging as a foundation for our success in institutional transformation. We are especially interested in applicants who are able to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from all backgrounds and with different identities and attributes. Applicants should provide a personal statement addressing how their teaching, research, service, and/or life experiences prepare them to advance Dartmouth’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This statement will be evaluated as part of the selection process.
