Job Description:

Core responsibilities of a Network Security Support Engineer in Cebu:

• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Good network diagnostic skills
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and strong ability to learn new things
• Function in a client-facing role, providing remote troubleshooting and problem resolution on multiple network environments

Daily responsibilities of a Network Security Support Engineer in Cebu

• Configure, manage, and upgrade router, switch, wireless, and firewall products
• Provide support for integration and onboarding activities to ensure smooth client transition
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems using TCP/IP networking skills
• Ticket creation, tracking, and resolution with multiple external Service Providers
• Follow required customer and division runbook guidelines
• Participate in the completion of required project deliverables for network and security assessments, implementations, and other scopes of work

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements for the role of network security support engineer in Cebu

• Customer service focus required with strong interpersonal skills
• Fluent in written/verbal English and Conversational Spanish communication skills
• 3 years of professional experience with network or firewall administration
