Comments and Other Information Minimum Qualifications Any combination of training and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Education: An Associate's degree in a state-approved speech-language pathology assistant training program, or a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders/Speech Language Pathology. Experience: One year of paid experience working with children in a structured organizational environment.
