Job Overview

Under general direction of a Senior IT Manger or a Lead Application Engineer in the area of focus, manages and maintains application-level software. Implements and maintains automated and manual systems including specifying, testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting system applications. Uses broad working knowledge of data processing to facilitate the definition of solutions to meet business requirements. Supports users working with assigned systems.

What you will be doing:

  • Manages and maintains systems in area of Oracle Financials including administration, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, code migration, performance monitoring, system support, and end-user support. Maintains the live systems including resolving operational problems and user queries arising during day-to-day operations.
  • Manages the configuration of systems in area of focus such as bug analysis, patch testing and application, and support requirements analysis and customization design.
  • Ensures the integrity, reliability, and availability of systems in area of focus with a goal of maximizing system up-time.
  • Monitors and measures the performance and health of systems in area of focus and responds accordingly when systems fail to meet desired metrics.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, works with managers and leads to define business problems, configures software systems solutions, and ensures the integration of system in area of focus.
  • Configures, tests, debugs and documents complex programs using specialized computer languages. Performs specialized configuration tasks requiring a high degree of technical proficiency in such areas as database, data communications, servers. Identifies configuration issues and corrective action to mitigate system impacts.
  • Provides emergency on-call response for one or more applications.
  • Provides customized training and training documentation on current and future functionality of supported software systems. Participates on cross-functional teams to implement improved business solutions/business processes based on strategic plans.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of support and integration work experience with Oracle Financials including Fusion.
  • Three (3) years of experience Saas-Paas Integrations, Enterprise Performance Management, ERP Analytics, OTIBI, BI Publisher, Primavera Unifier (Dashboards, UDRs, Webservices, PIF) and SQL Skills
  • Possession of a valid class C driver's license.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted above.

What we desire:

  • Experience in accounting standards and application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP, GASB or ACFR), preferably with governmental accounting.
  • Experience supporting governmental agencies.
  • Business Intelligence Knowledge in query writing and dashboard development.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements including balance sheet, cash flow and operational processes and requirements in ERP.
