position will require highly qualified knowledge of SAP Integration technologies in SAP PI/PO system. Incumbent will apply technical proficiency and hand on expertise across different stages of implementation & support including designing, architecting & implementing integration in SAP PI/PO/CPI systems. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

In addition, this role will also be responsible for working with hosting service providers for SAP Basis work including environment patching and upgrades for SAP middleware (Process Orchestration / CPI). Internally, this role will report to Gates ERP Technical Services lead in US.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Actively engage and support discussion with integration vendors and implementation partners to develop SAP Interfaces 
  2. Develop & Manage Interface Standards for SAP Integration development. 
  3. Support SAP PI/PO/CPI Integration to provide secure and reliable performance across the SAP middleware and ecosystem which include SAP and Non-SAP systems.  SAP systems includes SAP S4HANA, Process Orchestration (PO), Cloud Process Integration (CPI), SAP Fiori, SAP GTS and Solution Manager. 
  4. Assist in development and QA activities of integration solution implementation using SAP PI/PO, SDI (Smart Data Integration), and SAP-CPI 
  5. SAP PO / SAP-CPI administration to include and not limited to while working with Hosting Provider to: 
  • Perform Installations, Parameter Updates, and Upgrades 
  • Manage SLDs and transport promotion through CTS+ 
  • Maintain System Health, System Performance, and Service Registry 
  • Manage set up the associated configuration for any new third parties adapters 
  1. Manage L1 & L2 level production support along with production migration of integration fixes and enhancements. 
  2. Work with internal and AMS resources to design, develop, build, test and implement SAP application integrations within defined project schedule / SLA. 

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • Experience in integration with SAP, Non-SAP (A2A), External (B2B) and cloud (C2C) systems using SAP PI/PO and SAP- CPI and standard Adapters like File, SFTP, SOAP, JDBC, RFC, and IDOC. 
  • Exposure using EDI software and good understanding of EDI maps/ Transactions is a MUST 
  • Prior experience with component-based message alerting, Application Integration Framework (AIF)) and Business Process Monitoring is desired. 
  • Experience in developing different mappings including Graphical, Java, XSLT and ABAP mappings. 
  • Configuring File, FTP, SFTP HTTP/HTTPs, PROXY, IDOC, SOAP, JDBC adapters with SAP PI/PO as messaging service 
  • Previous experience working in a Global outsourced, managed services environment with blend of onshore and offshore resources. 
  • Minimum 1 implementation project experience. Prior experience working in S4HANA system is Preferred. 
  • Proven experience to understand the 'as-is' and 'to-be' technical architecture within SAP system and integration space including but not limited to building integration topology and canonicals for Interfaces. 

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems, other related field. Or equivalent work experience. 
  • 5+ Years of experience implementing & supporting full-life cycle of large and complex SAP enterprise environments with minimum of 2 years of experience integrating with SAP S/4 HANA solutions. 
  • 5+ years of experience configuring, developing and implementing SAP integration solutions in PI/PO 7.X or CPI 
  • 2+ years of experience integrating cloud applications with on-premises and cloud systems using B2B, B2C, C2C integration. 
  • Hands on experience with PI/PO integration technologies in the following areas: Service Repository and Integration Directory; Data mappings, XSLT mappings, EDI and XML communications, Proxies, interface definitions, and XSDs; Configuration and implementation of PI adapter types (IDoc, RFC, JDBC, File, SOAP, WS, JMS, HTTP, REST and Proxy); Configuration, design, development, Message monitoring; adapter logs, adapter engine status, communication channels etc. 
  • Experience in ABAP enhancements, ABAP Proxies, RFC, IDOC, CXML, ALE configuration, Partner profiles, Ports, Enhancements, error processing, troubleshooting 
  • Experienced in leveraging outsourced partners supporting technical implementation, support, maintenance, and system administration efforts 
  • Candidates should be able to communicate in English language. 

Highly desired, but not required 

  • SAP PI/PO/CPI Certification 
  • Working Experience in SAP Business Application Studio
