Summary:

Perform Inspections and Surveillances as directed by Quality Supervision to ensure that work is performed as required by the Project Quality Plan, codes, specifications, drawings, procedures, and contract. Ensure that the required documentation/records are generated, maintained, and include the details of all inspections/surveillances performed. Inspectors shall only perform inspections/surveillances for which they have been previously qualified by training. Interact cross-functionally with project team members and management. Provide input to Quality Management reports.

Responsibilities:

• Perform VT Inspections.
• Understand and Inspect According to Contract Requirements.
• Understand Subcontractor(s) Contract Requirements.
• Follow the HSE requirements applicable to work scope.
• Assist with implementation of project specific quality procedures.
• Perform and document inspections as required (weld/heat map, weld log, NDE coordination, witness of pressure testing).
• Perform and document inspections of subcontractor work as assigned.
• Oversee subcontractor inspections and review of subcontractor documentation.
• Generate NCR’s when required.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Quality Inspection experience.
• Adequate experience in documenting project details as required.
• Experience in Weld/Heat Map traceability.
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication drawings.
• Including but not limited to distinguishing welds such as Girth, Branch, Etc.
• Document NDE for RT, PT, Etc. 
• Basic math skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to reach, stand, walk, climb, grasp, use hands or fingers, grip, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl and to perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to sit at a desk and operate computer for extended periods of time.
• The ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis is required and at times lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.
