As OEM-focused engineering team FAE, you will support project for the top mobile and automotive maker in Korea. The projects execution involves deliverables spanning across SW and RF, covering NFC for mobile, automotive and IoT verticals. In this critical role, you are also expected to work closely with regional sales, marketing & BD on execution and customer engagements. You will be in a unique position to positively influence the success in the markets. 

Main Responsibility

• Responsible for building a close and trusted relationship with key engineering leaders at targeted customers, understand the current and future needs and help increase design win funnel by delivering strong engineering execution and support on projects. 
• Provide necessary technical deep-dives, hands on training to customer engineers as and when needed 
• Responsible for technical feasibility of customer specific projects and provide realistic solutions, timelines, risks etc. for execution proposals. 
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills with clear business acumen to help set priorities for the issues and solve those technical/business issues on current and future needs of the customer 
• Form strong support link between segment marketing, systems engineering, SW R&D, regional sales, FAEs, and our customers. 
• Work closely with Business Line (BL) marketing teams and regional sales/BD to align on specific projects and execute them on time with quality deliverables. 
• Train and build up domain specific knowledge on NFC SW and RF aspects as per the customer projects needs 
• Provide a strong technical vision, leadership to the team and willing to roll up the sleeves to do hands on work when needed 
• Provide local, on-time and differentiating engineering engagement model and support to targeted customers by working closely with regional teams and ensuring there is ONE NXP view in front of customer 
• Travel domestically and internationally as required. 

Qualifications

• Fluent in local and English language 
• Master’s / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, RF, Control or Computer Engineering, advanced degree preferred 
• 5+ years’ experience with Semiconductor Products in a position such as product applications or systems engineer, field applications engineer, or other technical positions with good practical knowledge of applications and technologies
• Preferred experience and skills : Android OS, Linux OS, C, C++, Java, Python languages , RF fundamentals(LF, HF, and UHF bands) and NFC/RFID system analysis, NFC firmware, NFC middleware
• Expert level understanding of mobile and automotive customer’s business challenge 
• Strong communication skills are needed

• Excellent customer facing, presentation, and communication skills 
• Critical thinking skills and proficient in risk and issue management 
• Demonstrates a willingness to continuously learn and improve
