The opportunity
This position is responsible for campaign planning, lead planning and tracking. Primary role will work closely with leaders across product, sales, actuarial and marketing data analytics team to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. Provide services to support the main business functions of MCBL in production-related reports and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- 1. Supports Sales Activity Management (SAM) of RBB with focus on building sales habits in a more structured sales activity metrics to drive better lead generation.
- 2. Provides meaningful and easy to understand distribution reports & analysis of RBB channel and per region to effectively monitor various RBB KPIs and sales drivers [including forecasting, data simulations, variable compensation & creation of costing models for campaigns, marketing promo and tactical initiatives to drive production]
- 3. Leads analytic projects and analyze customer data, trend analysis and campaign analytics to support data driven business decisions.
- 4. Supports local and regional reporting requirement, business review and steerco presentation.
- 5. Keep abreast of industry and competitor trends, best practices, and policies.
- 6. Works hand in hand with Regional Sales Head and Area Managers assigned in RBB Channel.
- 7. Supports in developing a business roadmap and aid MCBL Strategic and Business Plans, prioritizing key initiatives based on potential impact to the business.
- 8. To support in the execution and managing business development initiatives for MCBL that will help the business meet growth targets and strengthen our partnership with the bank and its customers including but not limited to:
- Customer Value Propositions and products for existing and new segments
- Strategic Partnership opportunities with bank subsidiaries and related parties
- 9. Communicates and presents key insights, initiatives, and results to stakeholders including Manulife, MCBL and Chinabank leadership as well as sales frontliners to show overall progress of business development initiatives.
- 10. Supports Head of Banca Strategy in ad-hoc strategic projects, reporting, and governance.
Individual Accountabilities:
- Strict implementation of Sales Activity Management to be released to sales
- Manages the Performance Management System (PMS) validation of sales team
- Expected to collaborate and work closely with various key stakeholders (e.g. MIS, Finance, Sales Management Team, Agency support teams)
- Prepares and executes MCBL communication, memorandums and other related materials to communicate on change processes and guidelines and initiatives to the sales force
- Support local and regional reporting requirements
Key Shared Accountabilities:
- Marketing Data Analytics Team on any-related data lake (EDL) customer experience dashboards
- Finance MIS business unit on data information, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), production metrics, persistency computation and promo and conference results,
- Finance Accounting on Variable Pay Compensation computation, validation of results and disputes/appeals
- Finance Actuarial on promo cost assumptions
- Marketing on promo simulation and design
- Products Team on any-related product launches and market analysis
- Meetings and coordination with bank partner on any-related projects prior launch meeting the standards and with compliance to audit specifically on Personal Information Data Privacy

What we are looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in Sales & Marketing, Analytics position, or similar role
- Results-driven and ability to handle multiple project
- Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Analytics, business intelligence tools, knowledge in using Microsoft Excel, Power BI software and dashboards
- Highly developed communication and analysis writing skills, relationship skills & planning skills
