The Yale School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Child and Adolescent psychiatrist pursuing an academic career to become affiliated with the largest provider of hospital-based psychiatric services in Connecticut, Yale New Haven Health. We have an exciting opportunity for a psychiatrist to join our Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital ambulatory team within Adolescent and Adult Outpatient Services, with a particular emphasis on growing outpatient services for young adults and Transitional Age Youth. Our team of experienced psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, psychologists and psychiatric pharmacist work collaboratively to provide evidence-based specialized programing for the treatment of adolescents, young adults and adults in outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment. This position may also be combined with research/grant funded projects. The position carries a faculty appointment within the Department of Psychiatry at the assistant or associate professor level depending upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This position offers opportunities to engage in resident and medical student education.
