CAKE DECORATING INSTRUCTOR- PART TIME
OLIVE-HARVEY COLLEGE
Olive-Harvey College is seeking a professional Cake Decorating instructor to teach courses through the continuing education department. Knowledge of cake decorating methods is required. Continuing Education and Professional & Personal Development non-credit courses are available for students seeking occupational skills or personal enrichment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop safe, professional and comprehensive cake decorating training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their program and remain motivated to attain their personal goals.
- Instruct cake decorating classes while maintaining the cleanliness of the studio/classroom.
- Develop and maintain a cake decorating client base.
- Develop lesson plans and deliver content to students.
- Monitor participants throughout entire class.
- Keep accurate attendance records.
- Follow check-in policies for each class.
Qualifications:
- 2 + years experience in cake decorating/bakeshop, or as an employee of a bakery, or store that prepares baked goods.
- Experience using cake decorating methods such as Wilton or other professional methods
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
