The University of San Francisco (USF) Engineering Department is looking for an ENGR 411: Project & Design Capstone II instructor for the Spring 2025 semester.
Full Job Description:
The engineering program at USF is a student-focused, hands-on, project-based program immersed in a Jesuit liberal arts education. Students in their senior year of this program work on a year-long capstone project where students integrate their engineering knowledge and design skills to address a real-world project. All projects are socio-technical investigations, the scope and context of which are defined in Project & Design Capstone I taught during Fall ’24. Project & Design Capstone II is the second part of the capstone experience, focusing on the refinement of prototypes, analysis of results, and the production of a final deliverable.
The class is 4 units, meeting three times per week for ~1 hour each, or two times a week for ~1.5 hrs each. Major instructor responsibilities include (and are not limited to):
