ANGEL invites applications for the position of Principal Research Scientist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director in providing strategic direction and leadership to guide the center of excellence in achieving its vision and mission.
- Assist the Director in offering scientific insights and strategic direction for research collaborations with industry partners.
- Help the Director plan, strategize, and implement frameworks and processes to meet the center's milestones and goals.
- Lead research programs focused on emerging technologies and talent development.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal teams and external collaborators to achieve common objectives.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to researchers and PhD students.
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree from a world leading university, preferably in a field related to computer science/engineering, with at least 20 years’ experience in an educational and research environment.
- Strong leadership in managing executive and professional programmes
- Strong experience as subject matter expert in wireless communications, etc.
- Significant experience and success in lead strategic collaborations.
- Excellent oral and written communications, with strong interpersonal skills.
