Project Manager – Commercial Operations
Location: Remote
As a Project Manager – Commercial Operations you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here you will make an impact by strengthening operational processes that support the consulting and outsourced services business.
This person will be responsible for initiatives to improve efficiency within our pricing, contracting, and operational support teams.
Primary activities include the following:
- Identify process improvements, adapt current procedures, and implement new practices and tools to solve complex problems
- Plan, direct, and coordinate projects in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Manage project milestones and cross-functional team handoffs
- Report to project stakeholders periodically on project status
- Identify gaps, opportunities, risks, and recommendations to meet project deadlines
- Document best-practice standard operating procedures
- Actively participate in relevant corporate programs/initiatives
- Comply with professional and quality standards as well as corporate policies and procedures; and act in a manner consistent with Solventum’s values and ethical standards.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution OR a High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and five (5) years of project management experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree education requirement
- Minimum of five (5) combined years of experience project management in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience working in Solventum Health Information Systems’ contracting and project management software tools and relevant Salesforce and/or Workfront experience
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office (e.g. – Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master’s degree in a business-related field
- Ability to work efficiently and thrive in a dynamic, remote work environment
- Proven project management and operational skills, particularly in generating accurate work, effective recommendations, and beneficial outcomes
- Experience in healthcare technology, revenue cycle management, and/or consulting services
- Ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize to meet project deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms
- Education:
