JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Director of Behavioral Health, the Expressive Therapist provides therapeutic interventions through creative arts, such as music, art, and drama, to support patients' emotional well-being and recovery. They assess individual needs, develop personalized treatment plans, prepares relevant materials, and facilitate group and individual sessions. By promoting self-expression and communication, the therapist helps patients cope with illness, trauma, and stress, fostering healing and personal growth. Collaboration with medical staff ensures a holistic approach to patient care.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally stoop or kneel. Fine motor skills are required when using hands and fingers to handle, feel, or reach. Normal or corrected vision, hearing, and ability to speak are necessary.
