Responsibilities
- Lead Partnership Negotiations and Development: Champion the development and negotiation of strategic partnerships with key merchants across various categories, ensuring alignment with DBS's business objectives and customer-centric approach.
- Manage Existing Partnerships: Actively cultivate and manage relationships with existing partners, identifying opportunities for expansion, growth, and optimization of existing instalment payment plans.
- Acquisition of New Partnership: Actively identify new partnership opportunities that aligns to key customer demographics and segments to increase merchant mix.
- Drive Card Usage & Instalment Growth: Spearhead initiatives to drive card usage and increase adoption of instalment payment plans, leveraging data insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling value propositions.
- Develop and Execute Partnership Strategies: Identify and capitalize on emerging customer trends, market opportunities, and evolving technology to develop strategic partnership initiatives that align with business goals and enhance the customer experience.
- Curate Deals and Manage Promotions: Generate innovative ideas for partnerships, identify decision-makers, and lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial deals. Oversee the end-to-end management of promotional campaigns, ensuring effective execution and measuring campaign performance.
- Track Performance and Provide Recommendations: Develop and implement robust tracking systems to monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to optimize strategies, improve ROI, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate for Success: Partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Digital Engagement, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of partnership initiatives and alignment across the business.
- Develop Long-Term Strategies: Work closely with the Line Manager to develop long-term strategic initiatives for the instalment payment plan portfolio, fostering a future-forward vision and shaping the direction of the business.
- Budget Planning & Control: Plan, manage and optimize allocated budget to drive sales growth for the assigned partnership accounts.
Requirements
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in BNPL & Partnership Management: Demonstrated experience in driving usage and/or instalment products within the Buy Now Pay Later landscape, with a strong understanding of the market dynamics, key players, and emerging trends.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Comfortable working with data, interpreting insights, and using analytics to inform strategic decisions, drive performance optimization, and measure success.
- Team Player: A collaborative individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Passion for Innovation & Customer Focus: Highly motivated with a passion for driving innovation, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and exceeding expectations.
- Strong Presentation & Negotiation Skills: Proficient in developing persuasive presentations, leading effective negotiations, and securing mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Adaptable and agile, capable of working effectively under pressure and navigating a dynamic business environment.
- Tech-Savvy and Acumen: Familiar with technology trends, tech acronyms, and preferably with a strong understanding of the technology landscape and its implications for the BNPL market.
