Position Summary: 

The SAP Functional Analyst - PP will be responsible for gathering business requirements for a wide range of system and process improvement primarily for manufacturing department. The Analyst will be responsible to meet with stakeholders for requirements gathering and document detailed functional specifications. This analyst will perform configurations for standard SAP solutions as well as work closely with the development team for solutions that cannot be accomplished through standard SAP configurations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the solution matches the requirements. This position will report to the Manager-ERP.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for gathering business requirements and developing detailed functional specifications
• Act as direct liaison with Manufacturing Business and ERP team to ensure system requirements; deadlines and priorities are clear and attained
• Responsible for performing FIT/GAP analysis, and provide SAP Solutions that can be achieved by configuration. Steer business team members to adopt Industry best practices and standard SAP solution as much as possible
• Work closely with the ABAP Team on functional specifications that cannot be accomplished using standard SAP Functionality
• Develop and execute test cases
• Perform unit and integration testing / documentation preparation
• Assist with end user training
• Perform technical trouble shooting to resolve production support issues

Supervision Received: 

• Plans and carries out work assignments and handles problems in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted practices in the occupation. Consults with Team leader on unique situations which do not have clear precedents

Supervisory Duties:

• No supervisory responsibility

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of seven (7) years of proven SAP analysis experience in a 4.7 or above environment with at least three full life cycle implementation and / or upgrade
• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline with specialized leadership training and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education;
• Must posses’ core strength in Production Planning (PP) as well as MM module. Knowledge of other modules (SD, WM) is a huge plus.
• Should have in depth SAP experience with PP and MM Configuration which includes Variant Configuration, MRP, MRP Type, MRP Controller, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Consumption base planning, BOM (Bill of Materials), MTO, MTS, ATP (Availability Check), Planned Independent Requirements, Production Planning, Forecast, Routing, Work Scheduling, Configure Master Data such as MRP Group, Strategy Group etc.
• Knowledge of Advance Planning Optimization (APO) is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of Process manufacturing and prior experience in Food Processing processes is desired.
• Experience in Consumer Product Good, Retail as well as Food and Distribution is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of Win-shuttle for data load and mass data creation in SAP is desired
• Experience in developing training documentation using uPerform.
• Knowledge of MES and Integrating MES with SAP PP is highly desired.

• Must be able to produce detailed professional functional specifications.
• Needs to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and execute test cases
• Knowledge of ABAP is a plus
• Project management experience is desired
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a multi-tasking, changing environment
• Self-starter attitude during ramp up to develop an understanding of FreshDirect ERP Implementation in areas of PP, MM, SD and WM with a focus on PP and WM.
• Strong team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
