Job Summary:

Restaurant Brands International is looking for an Analyst, Franchising to join the Firehouse Subs North America Franchising & Business Development team based in Jacksonville, FL. Reporting to the Director of Franchising, this role will own/lead restaurant M&A transactions with new & existing partners from start to finish. Firehouse Subs is in hyper-growth mode & the Franchising team is a focal point to growing the brand’s restaurant footprint across the US & Canada. This role represents an excellent opportunity for a hungry, humble, hard-working individual with 0-2 yrs of work experience to enjoy a potentially accelerated career path with RBI. You will learn how to work in a fast paced deals environment, have frequent exposure to the firm’s leadership & receive continuous mentorship/support to shape you into a future leader at the RBI/Firehouse Subs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • End to end ownership of Franchise-to-Franchise sale transactions right from connecting seller & buyer (whether internal or external) to closing the deal contractually
  • Identify opportunities for new market entries by highlighting need for and executing Franchisee Succession plans and/or Franchisee turnover plans
  • Evaluate deal structures to ensure financial/operational health of transactions & present to leadership team on a weekly basis for approval
  • Liaise between Field Operations, Business Development, Market Planning & Global Business Services team to gather necessary insights and relevant information to process transactions
  • Create & continuously update internal databases to track transaction related data & progress through sale process
  • Build & maintain relationships with franchisees to act as a trusted thought partner through the sale process

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Bachelor's degree
  • Years of experience 0-2
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Excel/Powerpoint and fluency in presenting to a wide range of seniority levels within the organization
  • Familiarity with financial models & statements
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments to collect variety of data and process transactions from start to finish
  • High integrity, ownership mentality, coachability and a passion for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career growth
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without needing visa sponsorship
