Vanderbilt University Law School invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty position to direct an Entrepreneurship Clinic, beginning July 2025. The clinic will offer legal services to eligible Vanderbilt students seeking to start a new business. Applicants should have experience providing legal advice to small businesses in various transactional contexts, which may include business formation, intellectual property, contract and employment matters. The successful candidate will teach a live-client clinical course and possibly a non-clinical course related to entrepreneurship. They will also engage in academic and community service and are expected to contribute to the scholarly community. Clinical faculty members are on career tracks, leading to presumptively renewable five-year contracts. This position is open to applicants with different levels of clinical teaching experience (Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor of Law). The final candidate for this position must successfully complete a background check.
