WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

• Take ownership of the whole development cycle - design, develop, deliver, operate, and improve important software systems that impact millions of customers every week
• Decide on the technologies and tools to deliver and operate scalable microservice-based applications on AWS 
• Collaborate with product organization and stakeholders from other teams, become an owner and expert of our domain 
• Help us become better, provide active feedback, mentor and support the development of more junior colleagues

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of professional experience software development experience and proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js / React.
• Proven experience of professional experience in designing microservices and cloud architectures as well as experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Good understanding of how to work with REST services and APIs.
• Experience in writing technical documentation is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, experience in writing technical documentation
• Eagerness to read code, and pair with other engineers on refactoring and implementation of new features
• Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Collaboration with engineering teams, managers, and product stakeholders from different backgrounds. 
• Strong analytical skills.
