Emarsys

AI Labs develops and operates various AI-products on the SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement Platform. These products aim to harness AI technologies, including cutting-edge Large Language Models, to enhance our customers' productivity by making marketing more automated and personalized. The team is looking for a Software Developer to work with a diverse team of software developers and data scientists to build and maintain scalable, cloud-based applications.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and operate microservices.
• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on product specifications within the planned timeline.
• Ensure proper testing, debugging and maintenance of new and existing code.
• Actively participate in the full product lifecycle, from idea through design and development to maintenance.
• Collaborate with dedicated security and platform engineering teams to implement security standards and keep service operation costs low.
• Follow Agile practices and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX and other development teams.
• Take part in on-call duties.
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions, workshops, and code reviews.
• Mentor and guide team members (junior software developers and data scientists).

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong knowledge of either one of these programming languages: Python, Typescript/NodeJS
• Experience in building scalable, cloud-based applications.
• Experience in machine learning and integrating machine learning models into production systems.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Familiar with SOLID, and TDD practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Willingness to learn new programming languages, techniques, and tools.
• Can effectively communicate/present your results in front of a technical audience.
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting attitude.
• Fluency in English.

EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE

• A University degree in Computer Science, Data Science or similar fields.
• Experience working on full-stack applications.
• Experience working in Google's ecosystem (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and building microservices.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience in working with Large Language Models.
• Experience in writing and understanding complex SQL queries.
