Amentum is seeking to fill a critical opening for a Junior RF Engineering Technician to join our Dahlgren, VA team in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).

Electromagnetic Effects Division. This is an electromagnetic environment from both a safety and reliability standpoint. Travel is involved as much as 10% of time. Selectee will have direct customer interface and communication and will work together as a Team for a wide variety of test events.

Junior RF Engineering Technician Responsibilities Include:

• Operating and maintaining equipment necessary to support conduct of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3)
• Testing/certification of DoD and non-DoD developmental and operational weapon and electronic systems. The purpose of this testing is to
• Determining if the system under evaluation meets E3 design specifications and/or assess its ability to function in its intended operational.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
• Vocational/technical training beyond high school
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year demonstrated experience to perform RF measurements using power meters, spectrum analyzers, and computer software.
