IT Asset Management Analyst

Skills & Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Software Requests:
- Process and track software requests from initiation to fulfillment.
- Ensure software assets are properly recorded and updated in the asset management system.
- Maintain Data Continuity within HAM Pro:
- Ensure accurate and consistent data entry for hardware models within the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) system.
- Conduct regular data audits to maintain data integrity.
- Responsible for Hardware Assets:
- Oversee the lifecycle management of hardware assets within the defined scope.
- Track hardware inventory, including procurement, deployment, and disposal.
- Record and Maintain Hardware Assets in Repository:
- Update and manage hardware asset records in the repository.
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of hardware assets.
- Monitor Hardware Repository for Accuracy & Consistency:
- Regularly review and verify hardware repository data for accuracy.
- Address and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in the repository.
- Analyze Hardware Data and Create Reports:
- Perform data analysis on hardware assets to identify trends and insights.
- Generate and present reports on hardware inventory, utilization, and other key metrics.
- Collect and Retain Hardware Asset Data for Risk and Cost Assessment:
- Gather and maintain data related to hardware assets for risk management and cost analysis.
- Support assessments of asset risks and costs to inform decision-making and budgeting.
Skills Required:
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with hardware asset management systems (e.g., HAM Pro), databases, and reporting tools.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate insightful reports.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in data entry and accuracy in maintaining asset records.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage and track multiple hardware assets.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is often preferred.
- Experience with asset management software or systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle management practices.
