Job Description

We are looking for a highly talented & motivated DevOps Group Manager to join our SW Infra group in Israel as part of the SW division.

The group is responsible for the reliability and availability of the operation environment and enabling the entire R&D group using CI tools, infrastructure, DevOps systems and automations. In this role you will lead the Devops group that is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting of the various infrastructure and code projects.

Our Group

We develop and maintain the division CI, tools. Testing Infra and automation supporting hundreds of SW/Algo engineers working from Israel/India and EU. Driving and developing new area like cloud/Generative AI/docker containers, K8S and more. Supporting, maintaining, and developing tools for our products (Monolith) and responsible for the developer experience in the company.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage few teams of DevOps & SW engineers that support hundreds of Dev/QA/Research engineers.
  • You will advocate for engineering productivity , DX and DevOps culture.
  • You will work closely with Global Architecture Office to define, implement and maintain state of the art technical solutions
  • You will take full end-to-end responsibility of the team that builds, operate and defines CI pipelines and automation processes for various products with SRE which are part of the group.
  • You will work closely with development teams to design and enhance the CI architecture to improve shift left scalability, service reliability, cost, developer experience and performance.
  • You will be responsible for design, build and maintain our cloud environment.

What you should have?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years leading DevOps teams (including managing managers) supporting large scale CI/CD tooling used by hundreds of engineers.
  • 8+ years of experience and proficiency with CI/CD, automation
  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Agile environment experience.
  • Proficiency with On-Premise environment and cloud environment (AZURE/AWS preferable).
  • Led the design & architectural vision together with the DevOps architects. 
  • Proficiency in scripting, Shell scripts, groovy & Python preferred. Java experience - Advantage
  • Proficiency with virtualized and containerized environments (Kubernetes and Docker) - advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work and coordinate between multiple teams.
  • Global company experience – Advantage
