Salary: $23.00

Express has partnered with the largest automated solar manufacture in North America to find their next Production Operator II. With over 35 years of solar experience, it is their mission to reduce carbon emissions and improve access to clean energy!

What you get to do:

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines according to position Standard Work Instructions (SWI)
• Clean and prepare workstation and machines.
• Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements.
• Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems.
• Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.
• Check final assembly for finish, labelling, and packaging methods.
• Complete other tasks as required and/or directed.
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.

What you need to be successful:

• Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish between colors.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English.
• Intermediate computer literacy; ability to analyze and interpret data read-outs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, leads, coworkers, etc.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic issues with machinery/position.
• Soldering experience is an asset. 

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 10:00PM – 6:00AM, Switching to 12-hour rotating shifts in October

Pay: $23.00
