Job Summary: The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the production process within the organization. This position involves hands-on collaboration with the production team, ensuring seamless coordination of activities, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality throughout the production cycle. Responsibilities include:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among managers and team members to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Strategically organize and delegate tasks among team members to streamline workflow and maximize output.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to continuously enhance the skills and knowledge of production team members.
- Maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure that production output consistently meets or exceeds established standards.
- Champion a culture of safety by enforcing compliance with all relevant safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout practices.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for production team members, providing constructive feedback and support for professional development.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of each production process and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Operations to align production objectives with broader organizational goals and priorities.
- Generate and maintain detailed production logs and reports to facilitate informed decision-making and performance evaluation.
- Uphold professional standards of appearance and demeanor in all interactions and activities.
- Take proactive measures to address environmental concerns, identify potential risks, and contribute to the development of robust systems and processes.
- Actively seek feedback, resources, and support to optimize individual and team performance, prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications:
- Preferred 10 years of progressive experience in production management, with a proven track record of success in optimizing processes and driving results.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with previous experience in effectively managing and motivating diverse teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of production processes, including experience with PLC operation and control systems.
- Exceptional decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Physical ability to perform tasks associated with the role, including lift up to 50 lbs, working in a plant atmosphere, and navigating stairs and ladders as needed. Hands on Production task as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other relevant software applications.
- Preferred skills include effective time management, legible handwriting, and demonstrated proficiency in computer usage.
- Knowledge of development of KPI REPORTS TO Monitor the Production efficiencies.
- Exemplary attendance record and adherence to OSHA safety practices are essential.
- Knowledge of mechanical processes to help trouble shoot machine operations.
