Summary

• The Cardiac Cath Lab Billing Spec is responsible for patient billing of all procedures done in the Cath and EP labs, maintains and orders inventory used in performing diagnostic, invasive and therapeutic cardiac, electrophysiology and peripheral vascular procedures. This position will also assist the Business Manager in communicating with outside vendors as well as in house buyers.
• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
• Education: N/A
• License/Certifications: N/A
• Experience: Experience with Excel software and proficiency in keyboard skills. Minimum of three years of Cardiovascular or Peripheral Angiography clinical experience, preferred.
• Interpersonal communication skills and ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with varied professional disciplines, multiple departments in Maine Health, and outside vendors.
• Analytical ability necessary to establish work routines and processes that require multi-tasking and prioritizing.
• Ability to read coronary and peripheral angiography imaging.
