The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Technology Risk team. The successful candidate will work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process, and will assist clients and other Technology Risk professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements.

Your key responsibilities

  • Execution of IT-related audit procedures in support of financial statements audits.
  • Lead and support the on-site coordination role for audit clients including planning, briefing team on the client's IT environment, coaching and mentoring junior staff, communicating with the clients and completing audit engagements.
  • Preparation of IT audit reports on the effectiveness of control structure, along with recommendations to improve the effectiveness, efficiency of a control or process.
  • Discuss and resolve IT audit issues and recommendations with client personnel.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply it to client situations.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT audit, information security or IT risk management.
  • Knowledge of IT frameworks, such as ITIL or COBIT.
  • Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Azerbaijani.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
