Lead Software Engineer 

We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer candidate with experience in Java, Data Structures, and Algorithm to join our team in Chennai.

You will report to the Sr. Manager Development

You will work as a Lead Software Engineer with a record of developing and delivering enterprise-class software to join the group. You will be responsible for the development of strategies. You will work in an environment delivering product and feature increments in short iterations. Your technical skills will be very important to deliver product functionalities across releases. MDM SaaS 

Technology You'll Use

• Java, AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Spring boot, Kubernetes

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Develop new connectors using Java technologies
• Develop new features and enhancements on the connector framework and connector SDK
• Collaborate with peer engineers, and architects spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end components and features.
• Handling customer escalations that are routed to R&D from Global customer support (would require you to re-prioritize your tasks)
• Gather and interpret broad requirement specifications from customers/Product Management that are not yet defined.
• Produce techno-functional specs and designs based on high-level requirements.
• Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project schedules.
• Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations.

What We'd Like to See

• Experience in Hadoop technologies like HBase, Titan, and Solr knowledge of Hadoop infrastructure like YARN, Ambari, and distributions like Cloudera, HortonWorks, MapR
• Exposure to and experience in integration with or knowledge of applications like Azure, AWS, Oracle, SAP, Tableau, Salesforce, QlikView, Microstrategy, Teradata, and Cognos will be an added advantage.

Role Essentials 

• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise software products using Java technologies Excellent coding and design skills in Java server-side technologies, object-oriented concepts, and Java open-source frameworks are mandatory
• Experience with Eclipse, Maven, Linux, and Tomcat is mandatory
• Experience with database concepts, SQL programming is mandatory
• Familiarity with the Agile development process.
• Supervises Operational Duties of Staff
