We are hiring a Manufacturing Technology Leader to join our Parlin, NJ site.

The Manufacturing Technology Leader will be responsible for managing and leading a global team of talented technical managers, engineers and technologists across groups that specialize in technical support to Cyrel® manufacturing. This leader works seamlessly across the business marketing, sales, R&D, supply chains, and product quality functions to deliver world best Cyrel® product lines.

As a member of the site leadership team, this role will collaborate with site operation leaders to define the site goals, program priorities, and budget forecasts aligned with business direction.

This is an Onsite opportunity, international business travel (<25%) is expected.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and leadership to a group of engineers and skilled technicians in the manufacturing technology function.
  • Establish global Cyrel® MT group objectives in alignment with units, sites, and business objectives, and lead the team to meet those objectives through effective prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Manage day-to-day supervision of direct reports, including performance management, team building, reward and recognition, employee development, and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a 3–5-year Cyrel® manufacturing & quality continuous improvement strategy and roadmap. Develop a 3–5-year resource enhancement strategy for Cyrel® MT group skill sets, equipment, and facilities. Manage the Cyrel® MT capital and operating expense budgets to the business profit objective commitment.
  • Ensure PSM technology elements are adequately resourced, and systems are in place. Engage MT team members to lead PSM elements and PSM compliance driven in cooperation with the site PSM leader.
  • Sponsor and drive strong sister plant network to ensure consistent PSM practices.
  • Own the safety culture and all other DuPont core values for the Cyrel® global organization in collaboration with respective site leadership teams. Ensure that company safety culture/protocols are clear and supported by all Cyrel® personnel.
  • Serve as key manufacturing technology leader in rapidly responding to business-critical product and quality issues. Ensure the right cross-section of individuals working as a team to solve customer issues as quickly and substantially as possible.

Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or Ph.D. degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 7-10 years working experience in manufacturing technology, product quality, or manufacturing operations roles.
  • At least 3-5 years of people leadership experience.
  • Proven experience and clear role model in work safety and operational discipline
  • Working knowledge of how Research, Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Operations, and Supply Chain function together to execute the business improvement processes.
  • Experience managing an organization to ensure high performance in a dynamic technology and marketplace, and prioritizing talent development.
  • Effective communication and influence skills, with proven aptitude for inspiring, leading, and managing others, as well as building effective teams.
  • Strong technical and people skills, along with an elevated level of initiative and problem solving are required to be successful in this role.
  • Capable of managing programs with high technical and market uncertainty.
