Benefits for the Appliance Repair Technician position include:

• Weekly paychecks! - $18.00 - $22.00/hour dependent on your experience and skills.

Essential Functions for the Appliance Repair Technician Position:

• Service, diagnose, and repair electrical or gas appliances, such as clothes washers and dryers. 
• Disassemble appliances repair or replace worn, damaged or defective mechanical parts. 
• Reassemble units after repairs are made, adjusting and cleaning and lubricating parts as needed. 
• Clean and adjust equipment, parts, or tools to repair or maintain them to ensure optimal performance. 
• Test electrical circuits, mechanical equipment, or components for proper functioning. 
• Record maintenance and repair work performed on appliances. 
• Refer to schematic drawings, product manuals, and troubleshooting guides to diagnose and repair problems. 
• Observe and examine appliances during operation to detect specific malfunctions such as loose parts, leaking fluid or detect potential problems. 
• Observe and test operation of appliances following installation and make any initial installation adjustments that are necessary. 
• Instruct customers regarding operation and care of appliances and provide information such as emergency service numbers. 
• Assemble and install new or reconditioned appliances taking measurements to determine if appliances will fit in installation locations, performing minor carpentry work when necessary to ensure proper installation. 
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Appliance Repair Technician Position:

• Possess outstanding customer service skills and can-do attitude.
• 2 plus years of appliance repair and/or general maintenance craft experience. 
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CMMS software a plus.
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
• Personal hand tools a plus.
• Ability to pass both an FBI/BCI background check and drug screen.
