Principal Web Software Engineer - Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability of the main product marketing website in collaboration with the marketing team to drive and implement website modernization. This role provides technical direction, oversees project plans, and may manage direct reports within the team.

Responsibilities

  • End to end executing of the assigned project from definition to final implementation.
  • Interfacing with other team members to finalize requirements
  • Serving as initial point of escalation for software development issues
  • Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for development of systems components
  • Resolving of complex bug fixes
  • Operating in various development environments including Agile Scrum and Kanban while collaborating with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate expertise in JavaScript, CSS, HTML as well as web hosting platform.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cross - browser and device testing experience
  • Demonstrate at least 5+ Wordpress experience.
  • Demonstrate backend development experience on custom themes.
  • Have an advanced level understanding of cookie categorization to meet compliance requirements.
  • Have experience in GA4 and google tag manager implementation.
