Express Employment Professionals is seeking a QC Tech candidate.
Location: Vale, OR
Pay: $19.50/hr.
4on/4off shift, 12 hour days
12:00 pm - 12:00 am
PURPOSE OF JOB
Performs laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics of diatomaceous earth for such purposes as quality control, process control or product development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all necessary QC testing or Dry Lab processes
- Enters data and test results into IFS and excel (as needed)
- Communicates regularly with kiln operator, shift supervisor, production manager and quality manager on any changes to test results in-process testing, etc.
- Calibration of all QC lab equipment
- Follow work instructions regarding testing, reporting, non-conforming product, etc.
- Monitoring automated packer, Alarm Monitor, Wet/Dry Lab Helper, Warehouse clean up, trash detail, Data Entry, or General Office duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES
Education / Certifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Skills:
- Working safely is priority
- The ability to work with a high degree of independence
- The ability to follow complex instructions
- A strong attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate effectively with the QC team and members of other teams (production, maintenance, etc.)
- Good computer skills – experience with excel, IFS Incuity preferred
- Good attendance history
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule
- Must be able to work independently

Lifting (include weight): Up to 60 lbs.
Reaching/Pushing: Full Range
Standing: Min 2 hr. continuous
Walking: Full Range; possible continuous
Sitting: Full Rage

Bend/Stoop/Kneel: Full Range; possible repetitive
