A manufacturing company in Struthers is looking for experienced Welders/Fabricators to join their team!

This position is for experienced Welders/ Fabricators and is responsible for the proper, productive and safe fitting of various components with select welding processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Welding: Required to operate equipment using processes such as Gas metal arc, Flux-cored arc, Shielded metal arc, MIG and TIG welding within the parameters outlined in weld procedures

Fabricating: Analyzes engineering blueprints and specifications to plan, layout, position and secure parts and assemblies by tacking and or welding using the fixtures and proper procedures given. Employees will be expected to heat, form and dress metal parts in the fabrication process

Equipment Used:

• Grinders
• Tape measure
• Torches
• Plasma cutting torch
• Powered saws
• Calipers
• Other precision measuring equipment
• Overhead cranes
• Forklift

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate should have a basic welding aptitude, 2-year technical degree or related work experience with ASME code and pressure welding is preferred
• Must possess basic blueprint reading skills and weld procedure interpretation
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work proficiently with hands and wrist
• Must be able to walk or stand for up to 10 hours at a time
• Must be able to operate machinery and be able to operate foot controls on equipment

Shifts: Days and afternoons available

Pay Rates (BASED ON EXPERIENCE/COMMENSURATE WITH WELD TEST)

• MIG with some TIG can be around $19.50/hour to start
• Experienced TIG and MIG can start around $21/hour
