Our Technology team is seeking IT Manager, Software Engineering
Position Description
- Proved leadership and management for all staff on the Cloud ERP support team including onboarding process, technical system analysis/support, change management and OIC integration/interface support.
- Partner with Rest of the World implementation team to provide the support during the implementation.
- Represents project and deliverables of the team, will partner with internal IT (ex. Security, Architecture) groups to streamline work requests and drive to conclusion
- Accountable for Finance Systems IT work stream, leading named responsible IT team members; partner with finance lead to drive project execution
- Align finance systems, security & data management policies to best in class model
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Ability to gain access to the necessary resources within a region or country to confirm the technology requirements
- Manage communications across the delivery team and key stakeholders, running a defined schedule of team meetings and leading on communication. ?Provides regular updates to business subject matter experts and direct manager.
- Display a can-do attitude, persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks.
- Manage team time tracking, ensure the project does not exceed the approved budget.
- Identify areas of improvement and ensure they are shared with the right stakeholders and form part of the closure procedures.
- Provides appropriate work direction to team members, subordinates, contractors, vendors.
- Coach and mentor team members, and recognize and develop talents
- Assist in developing new policies, procedures, and training pertaining to system integration
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive implementation of changes to integration / processes
- Present analyses, findings, and recommendations to a broader audience including senior leaders
Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years managing significant technical projects. More time in role does not guarantee promotion to this level. ?Exposure and experience with the following:
- Technology related project experience i.e. understanding of IT/infrastructure and development
- Change Management in complex environments
- Resource management (specifically demand and capacity planning)
- Risk and Issue management
- Management experience in a multinational organization (preferred).
- Experience with international implementations, the travel/hospitality industry, and supporting financial systems/teams (preferred).
- Languages
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSAs)
- Experience with global teams leading IT projects across cross functional areas including technology upgrades, maintenance, and development implementations.
- Global experience with reporting systems, ETL integrations, and financial systems.
- Excellent communication skills and works independently.
- Resourceful, action-oriented with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles.
- Forward thinking, creating a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
