Director IT Applications (D365) or ERP with Project Accounting
Location: Kennesaw, GA (onsite 4 days a week)
The Director IT Applications is responsible for gathering user requirements in the configuration, implementation, training and support of D365 and ancillary technologies.
Provides guidance to other team members on best practices and use of D365 and monitors future enhancements to optimize operations. Initial focus will be completing the clients conversion to D365 and integrated field service applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the BU/IT Management to deliver successful projects across the Services organization while fostering a client centric culture.
- Lead the project team responsible for converting Services to Microsoft D365 F&O
- Act as a trusted advisor and D365 teacher to build and maintain relationships with business unit leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance and IT leaders to define and execute a unified digital platform that enhances the customer experience.
- Provide insight on strategic direction in the IT organization innovation efforts and play a role in experimenting with new solutions to take advantage of those opportunities in the fulfillment of service delivery and construction management.
- Telecommunications industry experience helpful.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems and programs that fulfill the needs of the business.
- Keep abreast of new technologies, incorporate those technologies when appropriate and motivate others to utilize them.
- Develop and maintain project and program budgets for IT to ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives of the enterprise and is within plan.
- Ensure Information Security controls are operating effectively.
- ? Support D365 F&O, CE, Project, Project Accounting, AP/AR, Advanced Warehouse,Sales/Marketing, Procurement/Sourcing, Product Information Management, MRP.
- Support ISV Integrations and external systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelos Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Ten (10) years of experience in IT, to include five (4) years of technology leadership in an innovative business environment.
- Seven (7) years of experience with large/high volume ERP platforms
- Experience in Service Delivery and/or Construction Management industries
- Experience deploying large scale Microsoft Dynamics and/or Microsoft AX
- Minimum of three (3) years with AX or D365 F&O Supply Chain modules: Project, Advanced Warehouse, Sales/Marketing, Procurement/Sourcing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of leading technology Programs including ERP and Business Intelligence.
- Experience in leading smaller teams and projects, applications, and projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a shared/distributed global organization.
- Experience with meeting regulatory environment requirements, and information security & financial controls (including segregation of duties).
- Willingness to relocate in the Kennesaw, GA area. Re-location assistance available.
