Looking for a Sr. Software Developer/Lead, to join the Voice Connect application team. This role will include supporting the current product and enhancing the product with new features to improve customer experience. This includes working closely with the Enterprise Product Architect to design and implement common components across the entire suite of products.
He/she will participate in the creation of enterprise-class applications using proven design patterns on the latest technology platforms. This position requires a strong hands-on developer that will fully participate in the software development process. Development is on the .NET platform which requires strong knowledge and understanding of related technologies, and develop software following Agile Scrum development methodologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
>Oversees key product development, processes and performance reports, data and analysis.
>Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring development efforts such as progress reports, roadblocks and retrospectives, in order to inform management of current status of each development iteration.
>Coordinates with Product Management in creating and maintaining the product development roadmap, in strong collaboration with Technical Product Managers (TPMs) and senior leadership.
>Working with TPMs, coordinates high-level requirements and translates into detailed stories for internal developers or vendors, including user experience and interface.
>Participate in design and development architecture of new features.
>Work with Product Owner to ensure that requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
>Analyze existing solutions to highlight areas for improvements.
>Participating and influencing conversations during team ceremonies; backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
>Support the application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support). Follow established development, documentation, testing and deployment processes.
>Provide development support for existing applications in the field.
>Assisting the team to troubleshoot and quickly resolve critical production issues.
>Assisting the team with technical documentation of installation and configuration guides.
>Stay current with and anticipate technology evolutions, specifically AI, and its application in the Speech product for Voice-to-text and translation services.
>Work cross functionally and interdepartmentally to resolve complex customer problems.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience as follows:
>Strong experience as a Full Stack Software Developer
>Strong experience with .NET and C#
>MUST HAVE experience with AI generative tools i.e. (IBM Watson, MS Azure AI, Voice AI, Amazon Chatbot)
>MUST HAVE experience as a team lead
>Experience in Agile-based development environment
>Experience with Azure TTS a PLUS!
>Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle
>Experience with SIP and FreeSwitch
>Experience in the healthcare IT space is a definite PLUS!
