Description:
This resource will assist the retail network team with database changes to meet project deliverables.
Daily Responsibilities/Job Description:
- The DB2 DBA is responsible for database activities that support product team deliverables.
- Experience with table partitioning, index partitioning, admin move table, load from cursor, and
generated always columns.
- Familiar with DB2 creation, HADR support, DB2 federation, Database backup and restore
- Strong problem-solving skills
- DBA role needs to follow HealthCare Federal LAWs on PHI data and follow our Db2
standards
Technology Requirements (Must have):
- Experience with Db2 Support on UNIX
- Experience with DB2 db creation, HADR and Federation
- DB2 tools: db2top, db2look, AQT, DSM, etc.
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of HADR operation and creation and Disaster Recovery (DR) methods
