The Driver Servicing team, within the Azure Edge + Platform group, is on a mission to enlighten hundreds of millions of systems with high quality and resilient drivers and firmware, and we need you to achieve that.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager of the Device Servicing team working on end to end driver/firmware servicing, you get to work on lighting up some latest and coolest category of devices and scenarios, you get to go deep on some super technical areas, you get to collaborate with many technology teams (device teams, Dev Center, Data Science, Fundamentals and etc), and you get to engage with external partners (Silicon partners, OEMs and end customers). It's an exciting space that creates huge impact to end user satisfaction to Windows devices. • Deliver success in our most strategic set of Objectives and Ker Results (OKRs)
• Project scope definition and planning through delivery of assigned product and related product releases
• Ensure the oversight and coordination of dependencies across the project and resolve or escalate conflicts
• Provide customer input represented in both technical and business terms with descriptive requirements to ensure the value of the project is realized
• Deliver, document, and circulate an end-to-end plan, including activity, dependencies, timing, and ownership. Follow up with specific owners to deliver components of the project on-time
• Conduct regular meetings with the senior executive bodies to inform and alert them of any issues arising from the performance of the individual projects within the portfolio to assure the on-plan usage and consumption of resources and funding, and to highlight any variances
• Lead reviews of any significant initiatives, projects or programs that are challenged and provide recommendations as to whether it should continue, be significantly changed, placed on hold or discontinued
• Arrive at sound decisions that generate results, uses data and other inputs to make decisions, owns decision, and takes accountability for work using strong organizational and analytical skills

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects

Preferred qualifications 

• Demonstrated track record of driving and managing large scale products and features across multiple releases
• Able to solve hard problems quickly, effectively, independently and in collaboration with development and quality engineering
• Effective interpersonal and cross-team collaboration skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Program Management of low-level hardware scenarios
• Deep knowledge of operating system fundamentals, especially as they relate to device drivers
