Title: Software Quality Engineer

BU: Asia QV

Location: Shanghai

We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer for Electronic Arts in Shanghai. You will report to our Engineering Lead and work with our teams to develop quality control tools, test automation, data pipelines, and CI/CD systems for our products. As an important partner of the game development teams, Quality Engineering is driving innovation in tools and processes to achieve the highest quality standards. In collaboration with software engineers and QA, and using various programming and scripting languages, you will develop and maintain a CI system, automation test tools, and process automation tools that help increase the quality in our products.

Responsibilities

• Develop test automation tools and integrate them with CI/CD based on game development workflow.配合工作室的工作流程，实现自动化测试工具，并且与CI/CD集成。
• Work with game developers and QA team to meet all requirements.与游戏研发团队和测试团队紧密合作，明确需求以及其细节。
• Create reliable, scalable and easy-to-use tools and services.创建可靠性、可灵活扩展并且易于使用的工具/服务。
• Use and improve existing tools to add value efficiency.使用并改进已有工具
• Support functional and non-functional testing throughout the development life cycle.在整个游戏研发工程中，支持功能性和非功能性需求。
• Collaborate with our overseas tech and Quality Engineering teams to integrate and develop tools.与海外技术团队或者Quality Engineer团队合作，根据实际需求集成和实现工具。
• Contribute to our quality strategy with reusable tools and processes.使用可重用工具和流程为帮助公司一起达到为喜爱EA游戏的玩家提供高质量游戏的战略目标。

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience. 计算机相关专业或者具有相关行业经验
• A minimum 1+ years professional experience as SDET, experience in software development is a big plus. 至少1年测试开发经验，或者具有软件开发经验（加分项）
• Good hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitlabCI, Travis.对CI/CD工具，如Jenkins、GitlabCI、Travis等有一定的经验。
• Solid scripting skills in languages like Python, Shell Scripts, Ruby. 扎实的脚本经验如Python, Shell Sript或者Ruby
• Code competently in one of languages like C++, C#, Javascript, Java or Scala. 至少会一门编程语言：C++，C#, Javascript, Java 或scala
• Intermediate level proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking). 中等水平的英文听说读写的沟通能力
• Has good communication skill, ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues effectively 具备良好的沟通能力，能够高效定位问题并解决技术问题
• Familiar with Lean/Agile development processes. 熟悉敏捷开发项目的工作经验
• Understanding of test automation and how to improve development processes. 了解自动化测试以及开发流程改进
• Experience with mobile/online game development and load testing is a plus. 熟悉移动端/在线游戏研发，熟悉性能测试（加分）
• If you're familiar with the QA process and have relevant certification/experience, that's a bonus too. 熟悉测试流程，具有相关的认证或者经验（加分）
