We provide statewide leadership of highly valued mental health & addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery at OhioMHAS!

We are looking for team members who will serve compassionately, contribute & collaborate, deliver quality and be accountable.

What We Do:

OhioMHAS operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system.

Salary Information:

$2,000.00 New Hire Sign on Bonus, $1,000.00 paid at 120 days, $1000.00 paid at 365 days. No contract or length of terms (72 hours per pay period)

  • $31.86 per hour with the first increase in 180 days to $33.40
  • Additional $1.25 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
  • Additional $3.19 per hour for hours worked 2:30 pm – 7:00 am
  • Additional hourly retention supplements available for education and certifications up to 15%
  • Annual increases each year with an additional longevity supplement after 5 years of service
  • 72 hour Fixed Shift will receive an additional 5% supplement (6) 12's/pay period same days per schedule
  • 72 hour Variable Shift will receive an additional 9% supplement (6) 12's/pay period
  • 72-hour Weekend/1 Weekday Shift will receive an additional 11% supplement Every Sat., Sun plus (1) weekday

What You'll Do:

  • Serve in a fundamental role as an interdisciplinary treatment team member for psychiatric patients creating and executing treatment plans
  • Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, & response to medication
  • As charge nurse, initiate and direct psychiatric and nursing care for patients and provide support for nursing staff while promoting a positive and safe environment for recovery
  • Contributes vital input on records, plans, and reports
  • Facilitate patient group activities

Qualifications

Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.
